All phtographs taken with Minolta X-700 body amd 50mm f1.7 lens.

Its been ages since I took photos usung a film camera. So much has to be considered when using an analog camera. Is there film in it? Is the battery fresh? Have the ISO and exposure comensation controls been checked? Has the program setting on lens been locked in? Check. Time to compose. Oh wait, gotta turn on the ‘on’ switch, cock the shutter, then peer through the viewfinder to compose. All that before taking one picture! Is the lens focused where you want it to be? Do you have the overall scene composed the way it should look? There’s no zooming in or in-camera cropping here. Now are we ready? Set. Click… Try to click again. Nothing happens. Dang! Gotta cock the shutter before the next photo can be taken. It sure can slow down the process. But its that very process which compels the photographer to slow down, and consder each image more carefully, before recording it on film.
